Brainwave entrainment is a good way of relaxing your mind in preparation to become psychic. But what is brainwave entrainment? It is a way to reduce the fast-paced local and world tensions that are on the rise today. Now, more than ever the need to just relax, unwind and release oneself from mental and emotional stress has never been more important. Today’s science has discovered that stress can lead to real medical consequences and conditions. Brainwave entrainment not only reduces stress and benefits your health but also makes the mind more receptive to psychic thoughts.
How is this accomplished? It’s by listening to what are called Monaural beats, Binaural beats and Isochronic tones that are embedded into the background of music. They are designed to bring about specific brainwave states for relaxation, meditation, energy, creativity and more. More about this can be found at my “Unexplainable” store
Music that incorporates monaural beats, binaural beats and isochronic tones for altering brainwave activity can greatly assist listeners to achieve a wide variety of goals, such as more effective meditation, dramatically improved sleep, heightened creativity, superior focus and a variety of other improved states of mind.
To understand how brainwave entrainment music can alter your brainwaves it will be helpful to have a basic understanding of brainwaves.
Brainwaves are produced by electrical impulses in the brain. The four most common brainwaves are beta (13 hz – 30 hz), alpha (8 hz – 12 hz), theta (4 hz – 8 hz), and delta (0.5 hz – 4 hz). Although all four brainwaves are active in the brain at all times, one of these patterns is usually dominant depending on whether you are busy, emotional, relaxing, sleeping etc.
The dominant brainwave pattern is responsible for your state of awareness at any given moment.
Here are some examples of brainwave activity:
- Throughout the day when you are busy, anxious, high strung, and unable to relax beta is the dominant brainwave activity at that time.
- When you finally begin to relax and/or when you take a quick “power nap” your dominant brainwave activity moves to alpha.
- When you are sleeping and dreaming theta brainwaves are dominant.
- During deep, rejuvenating, dreamless sleep delta brainwaves are the dominant brainwave.
Extensive studies have been conducted to determine frequency range and the associated behaviours/mental states. These studies have produced incredible results that link metaphysical abilities to exact frequencies. Below shows the four most common brain wave classifications. Each of these can be broken down into frequencies that affect a different part of the conscious and subconscious mind. Each classification has many possible variations, and studies have shown different combinations will produce different effects.
13 to 40 Hz/Beta waves Active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration.
7 to 13 Hz/ Alpha waves Relaxation (while awake).
4 to 7 Hz/Theta waves Dreams, deep meditation, hypnosis.
Less than 4 Hz/Delta waves Deep dreamless sleep.
